God is in Control!

Every day, we are bombarded with news about the chaos overseas, persecution of Christians, civil wars, famines, and the upcoming election.

Instead of worrying or burying your head hoping tomorrow will bring better news, why not turn your thoughts into prayers and your worries into praise!

1 Timothy 2:1-5  Prayer for our leaders

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus…”

2 Chronicles 7:14  Prayer for the people of our country

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

2 Corinthians 4:8-12  Prayer for the persecuted

“We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.”

Revelation 5:12  Prayer of praise

“In a loud voice they sang: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”

Prayers are the power that can change the world! God bless!
