Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups Organic flour
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Wet ingredients
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk or cream
If desired, add:
- Add 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, or almonds.
- 1/2 cup dried currants, or chocolate chips. Alternate: Replace with 1/2 cup cranberries and 1 tablespoon orange zest.
Mix dry ingredients together. Using two knives, cut in the butter. Beat egg and add milk or cream. Add into dry mix for a thick dough and knead. Add nuts, currents, or cranberries. Form the dough into small, palm-sized scones. Bake in a

Ingredients
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 cup heavy cream
- dash of salt
Whisk cream cheese, honey, and salt in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until a soft peak begins to form. Combine ingredients and serve atop the scones. Serve with fresh, organic berries, or jam.
