Organic Scones & Clotted Cream!

GimmeInfo Scrumptious Scones

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups Organic flour
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Wet ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream

If desired, add:

  • Add 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, or almonds.
  • 1/2 cup dried currants, or chocolate chips. Alternate: Replace with 1/2 cup cranberries and 1 tablespoon orange zest.

Mix dry ingredients together. Using two knives, cut in the butter. Beat egg and add milk or cream. Add into dry mix for a thick dough and knead. Add nuts, currents, or cranberries. Form the dough into small, palm-sized scones. Bake in a

 Organic Clotted Cream


  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • dash of salt

Whisk cream cheese, honey, and salt in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until a soft peak begins to form. Combine ingredients and serve atop the scones.  Serve with fresh, organic berries, or jam.
